Indian nationals who have been rescued from Sudan's violent areas have arrived on their first flight in Delhi. Upon arriving in Delhi, they started chanting "Bharat Mata Ki Jai". There were 360 Indians on board the airplane.
A total of 246 Indians from strife-torn Sudan arrived at the Mumbai airport as part of 'Operation Kaveri', on Thursday, the airport officials informed ANI.
The Indian government has launched the rescue operation, ‘Operation Kaveri’ to save thousands of citizens who are stuck under unbearable conditions in Sudan. This operation will be focused on evacuating the citizens from the crisis-affected areas of the country. Let’s know about various aspects of this operation in this article.
On a Saudi jet, the Indian people were taken out of Sudan. With assistance from other Army sectors, the naval troops of the government carried out the evacuation. The Indian nationals arrived in Delhi today after arriving in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
At the Jeddah Airport, they were greeted by Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan.

“Happy to see off 360 Indians at Jeddah Airport in a flight bound for New Delhi They will be reaching the motherland soon, reuniting with their families Under #OperationKaveri the Government is working relentlessly to evacuate Indian nationals from Sudan & bring them home safely," MoS Muraleedharan tweeted.
Private airlines like IndiGo have extended their offer of assistance in the meantime. The government has received an offer from Indigo, a low-cost airline in India, to assist with Operation Kaveri's evacuation efforts.
Army General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, his deputy, and the leader of the RSF, General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, also known as Hemedti, are the main players in the escalation of violence in Sudan right now. A civil war has broken into the country and embassies of all other countries are trying to get their citizens out.
