Vidit Gujrathi was matched up against World Champion Magnus Carlsen and ended up beating the Norwegian wizard for the first time in his career. The 28-year-old Indian was ecstatic after his victory and he took to Twitter to celebrate his big win. “Just defeated the GOAT, World champion, Magnus Carlsen!!:),” Gujarati Tweeted.
Gujrathi won the match with black pieces as he exploited a tactical oversight from his famous opponent.
