Microsoft has stated that it intends to showcase the incorporation of the ChatGPT and Prometheus models in its productivity programmes, including apps such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
With the support of OpenAI, Microsoft has enhanced the Bing search engine and Edge web browser. Microsoft is advancing this integration swiftly, mostly because of Google. Microsoft had originally planned to introduce its new Bing AI in late February but moved the schedule up to this week as Google was getting ready to make its own announcements. After that, Google unveiled Bard, a ChatGPT rival, one day before Microsoft's event.
Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella, stated that he wants his company to be recognised as a leader in AI and is attempting to steer the business in that direction.
Since its release, ChatGPT by OpenAI has increased in popularity, adding around 100 million users in just two months. In 2023, Microsoft hopes to seize the AI potential and unleash some of the Prometheus Model's characteristics and capability that haven't been made public yet. Microsoft and Google have begun a competition for the future of search and AI.
